I need some help for a friend. She doesn't know where to find a marquee. She doesn't know if it would look good with her side bar or not. She's really frustrated and i really want to help her!
I think that they would look good together. Why does she think they wouldn't? Lots of sites have sidebars and marquees!
Depends on what she plans to use it for. Too much scrolling stuff will look rather annoying... But for sidebar updates or affiliates, it's good.
This is the one we use on my board, but you can easily edit it as you please.

direction - can be left, right, down, up, alternate
height and width - pretty self explanatory. With this you can set how high and wide the marquee space will be, in pixels.
scrollamount - speed; I think 4 is rather ok.
