| To create a mjor plot under which many roleplays will be and around which they will circulate, there are a few regulations. 1. You MUST submit your idea/plot in this main area. When/if it is approved to be a Major plot, a staff member will notify you in your topic and will create the subforum for you, and one of us will pin the plot basics. Each Topic will be privately voted and critiqued in our staff lounge. Members may vote and express critiques/views within your topic, and we will also take those into consideration. 2. You MUST follow this form, at least roughly: Topic/Plot Title: Genre: Brief Overview: Brief Bio: Brief runthrough of permitted beings/characters: (i.e. 'all fantasy creatures allowed' or 'humans only' or 'shapeshifters and elves only' or 'aliens and humans only' or 'wolves only' or 'all' ... etc.) Basic Ideals of Religion/governement {optional, but very much reccomended}: ******************** In Depth Plot Overview: In Depth Bio: In Depth Religion and Government Ideals/setup {again, optional but highly reccomended}: ******************** Other {optional}: Your character information could go below that should you so choose. 3. Your Plot MUST have a solid base. It should not be a random on-the-fly thing where there isn't even a shadow of a plot farther than the most basic bio. it also must be on the page, not in your head. not too much to ask, right? 4. Your Plot MUST be involving. If it can not harbor several roleplays being under it and revolving around it, it will not work. There must be enough space for creativity to happen. 5. It MUST NOT revolve around a few main characters and no one else. There MAY be Kings, Queens, etc. who figure largely and are key to the plot, and they MAY be controlled by one person, but they may not be the center of the entire structure of things. example: You CAN have an evil king/queen who is the major adversary. You CANNOT have an evil king/queen and make everyone's roleplays revolve around them and their lives. I hope that helped clear that some. (Peter/Kate, feel free to edit/reword this.) 6. You WILL be, essentially, the Game Master in your Plot's sub-forum. This means, you are responsible for making sure everyone is on topic and following the rules for your plot. If you need a topic closed, edited, deleted, someone warned, etc. pm staff, cite the offending area(s) in their/its entirety and we will change it. You CAN NOT dispute the Game Master's choices unless they go against the origional plot and/or unfair. in such case that you feel that they have imposed something unfair, YOU may appeal to staff DIRECTLY to have the problem solved. 7. You MUST have AT LEAST fifty posts before you can submit a Major plot ot plots, so that we have examples of writing we can glance at to see your style to know if you are typically active enough to host one of these. |
