cissy - November 18, 2007 09:50 PM (GMT)
I'm trying to get a search engine at the bottom of my forums. Does anyone know how to do this?

Go here:
http://www.google.com/coop/cse/...and follow instructions! It looks easy, but ask again if you have problems ^_^

Thanks for the help. But my friend tried it and it didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Put this in the Javascript under 'Board Wrappers'. It should help.

<META NAME="DESCRIPTION" CONTENT="Boarding School"> <META NAME="KEYWORDS" CONTENT="Boarding School, Students, Teachers"> |
Change the Keywords to the main words your site is like "Harry Potter", etc., etc. Any more questions, feel free to ask. I'll try to help the best I can :]
EDIT: It should allow Search Engines too freely search your site now, and you can have quite a few keywords. =D

If you are using IF or IPBFree, if you click on search, you can search both your site or Google. The feature is already built in.
