You might also think Carlisle is nothing compared to hollywood, well that might be true this town might not nave celebrities be the people living here sure do live like them. Even the kids here are in the newspaper or the magazine more than Paris Hilton and her scruffy dog. So when you come here to meet the people they might all look the same - nose in the air perfectly shaped shoulders rolled back, even thought they look like a million bucks inside or them is screaming with hatred, not because they broke a nail, it's because most people who live like a celebrity suffer like one too and worst off all everyone gets to see you fall. And so like another high-class city in our lovely state of California you may look like a million dollars you may even have a few in you bank but in a town were you party like a rock star all the time actions don't speak louder than words money does. Those were the days of our lives The bad things in life were so few Those days are all gone now but one thing is true When I look and I find I still love you    To others it everything they ever wanted growing up the fancy car, or the couture clothes or to some the glamorous life. For the people who are already in this little fish tank people call 'The Glamorous Life' it changes you the people around you the things you do the thinks you see, and you start to realize that some actions you just can't forget about it no matter what. Everyone in Carlisle has a past that no longer matters anymore, everyone has a dark secret they want to hide. So now its your turn to decide what are you going to be the fish or the amuser, only to find yourself count the minutes the seconds only to see you counting the days of our lives. You cant turn back the clock you cant turn back the tide Aint that a shame Id like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride When life was just a game No use in sitting and thinkin on what you did When you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids Sometimes it seems like lately - I just dont know Better sit back and go with the flow |
