Hey! I have acrazy thought. I've seehn it elsewhere and it works. Have a forum for graphic artists to set up 'shops' for people to reply to with requests. Each thread would be a person's shop. The first post would have samples of the person's work as well as a form to fill out with information about the graphics that are needed. It makes the 'request' forum look a little neater and that way requests won't be overlooked.

This might be an idea for the revamp. The graphics area has been a problem for some time now and frankly, we're just not sure what to do about it. The staff members that we get end up not having the time and if we were to just leave it as open requests [like someone posts and people look it over to see if they'd like to fill it for them] it just not that reliable. Maybe if we have people volunteer to open up shops and take requests on their own, it might work a little better.

That's exactly what i was thinking. i don't know what the issues were you guys had because i don't think i was here when it was open, but i can so see things getting out of control, people getting passed over and whatnot. I'd even be more than happy to 'moderate' it for you guys if no one else has the time. it works well on other sites i'm on. that way, no one gets overlooked. and if the member who created the shop has issues, they just arne't allowed to have a shop. you know?
